in the home of Waite and Genevieve Phillips. It is known for its expansive gardens.
There are two locations; the main site is part of a 1920’s villa while a
satellite facility is located at the Brady Arts District and it is called
Philbrook Downtown. The gallery features nine collections of art from around
the world. The collection also spans different artistic media and styles. Its
main focus of collection is on Native American art which features basketry,
pottery, jewelry, and paintings.
Colour Art Gallery
Colour Art Gallery has so much more
than mere paintings. It is also known for its many art classes and even
coaching sessions that can help you enhance your artistry. There are also
musical performances in the gallery from time to time. All these enable you to

AHHA Tulsa
At AHHA Tulsa the entire family will
be able to a large-scale, artist-driven, and highly immersive art gallery where
guests can have a multimedia experience with varying sound, movement, sight,
and touch. This whole installation has also transformed the second floor of the
Hardesty Center. The creative direction of the art gallery is headed by five
local lead artists. This is the time for you to experience a fantastic
multimedia as you move around the gallery. The art gallery doesn’t have a
permanent collection.
Living Arts of Tulsa
Living Arts of Tulsa features and
develops contemporary art in Tulsa. The gallery is a creative platform for new
ideas, interdisciplinary arts, and community empowerment through holding
performances, lectures, exhibitions, workshops, education, and others. Within
Living Arts, you can find spaces for exhibition, for education, and sites for
events and meetings. Apart from the exhibitions, Living Arts also holds various
events such as the Live Arts Series which includes performances, new music, and
spoken word.
Passion by Design Art Gallery
This is an art gallery owned by Bob
and Daisy Vest which started as a hair salon business. It was moved to the Fontana
Shopping Center which has a larger space. The extra space turned into what is
known as “the gallery.” This is where you will be introduced to Tulsa’s artists
and creators. You can also buy great gifts, unique artworks, jewelry, original
art, home decors, etc. There are also books from local authors.
Exhibit by Aberson
Aberson’s Exhibit showcases the
artworks of emerging and mid-career artists. There are varying exhibits and
artworks of different mediums used by artists. You can also find several
artistic objects that you would truly appreciate aesthetically. With artworks,
you can find several which vary on their genres such as still life, landscape,
figurative, abstract, pop art, animals, and portraiture. There are many artists

TAC Gallery
TAC Gallery is a popular exhibition
space for the Tulsa Artists’ Coalition. This space is non-profit and it is run
by volunteers. It is found in the Brady Arts District. The gallery was opened
in 1996 aimed at giving artists the space to exhibit. Every year you can find
exhibitions that are 10 month long and they can be solo or group art exhibits.
Majority of the artworks put on exhibit are chosen carefully by the Selection
Committee which is composed of professional artists and art educators in Tulsa.
M. A. Doran Gallery
Mary Ann Doran Gallery opened in
1979. It was moved to its current location in the Brookside neighborhood since
1988. You can find local and national contemporary art works being featured in
the gallery. The most popular works are abstract and contemporary realism. The
gallery showcases artists and disciplines which include sculpture, painting,
and American crafts. There are regular exhibitions held several times every
year on the ground floor while the second floor has regular displays from a
wider selection of artists.
Joseph Gierek Fine Art
This art gallery has been
consistently voted as one the best art galleries in Oklahoma. This is located
off the historic Route 66. For 35 years, Joseph Gierek has helped a number of
art collectors and to start and to expand their art collections. Here you can
find different media for arts such as painting, sculpture, glass, collage,
mixed media works, and also photography. The gallery’s aim is to provide
education and culturally significant experiences for all the types of visitors
whether student, collector, or observer.
Circle Cinema
This is the oldest theatre that
originally opened in 1928. It is now operating as a nonprofit cinema which
caters to many independent films. The theater comes with an art gallery which
is part of Circle Cinema’s aim to educate, entertain, and enlighten guests
through varied programs and features that expose them and connect them to
different global issues, cultures, and environments. The cinema does not
showcase only films. There are other special programs that are into theatre
performances, broadcasting, films with musical accompaniment, and others.
